Scope

Counterparties belong to a household. Each household maintains its own counterparty list, so you can track different counterparties for different financial contexts.

Using Counterparties

When creating or editing a transaction, you can optionally select a counterparty. This allows you to later analyze:

  • How much you've spent at a particular merchant
  • Your total income from a specific employer
  • Payment history with a service provider

Managing Counterparties

Admins and Owners can create, edit, and delete counterparties. During CSV import, counterparties can be mapped from CSV values to existing counterparties in the system.
